One of the pioneer colleges established in September 2007 at the Osun State University Osogbo Main Campus. All programmes are fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The college houses advanced laboratories, engineering workshops, and the Centre for Alternative Energies and Rural Technologies — a Centre of Excellence dedicated to sustainable innovation and applied technology research.
The college currently offers undergraduate programmes in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Geology, Industrial Chemistry, Information Technology, Microbiology, Physics with Electronics and Software Engineering. Engineering programmes include Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Following strategic investments in infrastructure, the college continues to expand its research capacity and industry partnerships in science, engineering and technology innovation.

At the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, Osogbo Main Campus, we offer a wide range of academic programmes designed to produce innovative scientists, engineers, and technology professionals.
The College was established in 2007 to cater for the needs of students in Science, Engineering and Technology, and in particular to offer teaching, research and community service in these areas. The vision, mission, philosophy and objectives of the College are in tandem with that of the University. The College took off with a modest number of students and staff but has grown significantly over the years.
The College currently has four Faculties with eighteen departments offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various disciplines. Our programmes are designed to produce graduates with the requisite skill, knowledge and competencies to be arrow heads of the socio-economic and technological development of Osun State in particular and Nigeria in general.
All programmes in the College are fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC), with curricula tailored to the Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards (BMAS/CCMAS).
Location
The College is located at the Main Campus, Okebaale area of Osogbo, the Osun State Capital.
Academic Structure
The College currently comprises four (4) Faculties and eighteen (18+) academic departments offering fully accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Staff Strength
Academic Staff: 50+ (including Professors, Associate Professors, Senior Lecturers, and other academic personnel).
Non-Teaching Staff: Supported by Technologists, Laboratory Staff, Faculty Officers, and Administrative Personnel.
Staff Growth Journey: The College took off with a modest number of academic staff and has grown significantly over the years, now boasting experienced researchers, engineers, and scientists across all faculties.
Philosophy
To continually respond to the changing imperatives in Science, Engineering and Technology and seek to raise men and women imbued with the requisite skill, knowledge and competencies in Science, Engineering and Technology, to be arrow heads of the socio-economic and technological development of Osun State in particular and Nigeria in general.
Mission
In a bid to achieve its mission, the College of Science, Engineering and Technology shall be firmly committed to offering students of widely varied ages, backgrounds, interests and needs, a broad range of educational opportunities and experiences in Science, Engineering and Technology which will enable them to function as productive members of the society.

Research and Innovation
The Centre for Alternative Energies and Rural Technologies, established by the University as one of its Centres of Excellence, is housed in the College. The Centre focuses on developing appropriate and sustainable technologies that address contemporary needs of the society, thus reducing poverty and enhancing development. There are also other ongoing researches in basic and applied sciences being conducted by staff in the various Departments.

CENTRE FOR ALTERNATIVE ENERGIES AND RURAL TECHNOLOGIES
A Centre of Excellence focused on developing sustainable technologies that address contemporary societal needs, reducing poverty and enhancing development through innovative research and community engagement in Osun State and beyond.
STEM OUTREACH PROGRAMME
The College organizes workshops, seminars, and training programmes for secondary school students and community members, promoting science, technology, engineering and mathematics education and fostering interest in innovation and technology careers.

Key Notes: Prof. Babatunde hosted a One-day Organic Agriculture Training Workshop and Exhibition for farmers at Ejigbo Campus on May 4th, 2017.
