A sustainable search for Political Development.
The philosophy of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Osun State University, Okuku Campus is to produce graduates who are sensitive, skillful, and able to appreciate political phenomena. It also seeks to produce graduates who can make objective contributions to national development by offering viable alternative political and policy strategies and modules to national development in this period of national search for sustainable political development.

Admission Requirements
UTME / 100 Level Entry
5 Credit passes in SSCE or equivalent including English Language, Government or History, plus other relevant Social Science subjects in not more than two sittings. A credit in Mathematics will be an added advantage. Acceptable UTME score and Post-UTME screening required.

Direct Entry / 200 Level
Advanced Level passes in at least two of: Government, History, English Language, Literature in English. ND/NCE with Lower Credit in relevant fields or acceptable UNIOSUN Foundation Programme pass also accepted.

Programme Duration
Registration Procedure
Registration must be completed at the beginning of the semester. Course changes require coordinator consent.
Allowed before 1/3 of lectures have been given. Unauthorized absence results in a Grade Point of 0F.
Allowed with penalty up to 4 weeks after commencement of registration.
