Current/Recent Research

My current research examines the intersections of peace, security, humanitarian governance, migration, sustainable development, and emerging technologies within Africa. As a former Research Fellow at the University of the Free State, University of Johannesburg, and currently, a Senior Lecturer at Osun State University, I investigate decolonising humanitarian aid, climate governance, Fourth Industrial Revolution policies, higher education transformation, and geopolitical security. My recent publications in Global Africa, Frontiers in Education, Jurnal Suara Hukum, and Al-Ahkam reflect an increasingly interdisciplinary research agenda combining political science, international relations, development studies, and public policy. Through collaborations across Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America, I produce policy-relevant scholarship that advances African-centred knowledge and contributes to sustainable governance and inclusive development.
