Osun State University has been named the Hult Prize Sub-Saharan Africa Programme of the Year 2025. This marks a historic milestone as UNIOSUN participated in the prestigious global Hult Prize competition for the first time.
The Hult Prize is one of the world’s largest student competitions, engaging over 2,000 universities across 120+ countries. It challenges young innovators to develop scalable social enterprises that tackle pressing global issues.
This remarkable achievement was spearheaded by Miss Dosumu Fisayo Flourish (also known as Fisayo Dosumu), a final-year student in the Department of Public Health at UNIOSUN and the pioneering Campus Director of Hult Prize UNIOSUN. Her exceptional leadership not only secured the regional Programme of the Year title but also earned her a 75% scholarship to Hult International Business School and an invitation to the Hult Prize Global Finals in London, UK.
This win represents another proud moment for UNIOSUN and highlights the excellence, innovation, and global competitiveness of its students on the international stage. It further strengthens UNIOSUN’s reputation as a leading institution in Nigeria and Africa for fostering entrepreneurial and social impact initiatives.
Congratulations to Dosumu Fisayo Flourish, the entire Hult Prize UNIOSUN team, and the broader UNIOSUN community on this outstanding achievement!
