Biosketch:

Adetunji Kehinde is a Professor of Agricultural Economics. His areas of interest include production, resource, environmental and development economics. He is a staff of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management and currently the Provost, Postgraduate College, Osun State University. He has taught at the University level for twenty-one years, and some of the courses taught are Production Economics, Natural Resource Economics, Environmental Economics, Statistics and Research Methods and Project Monitoring and Evaluation. He was a recipient of the African Forestry Research Network (AFORNET), Idachaba Foundation for Research and Scholarship (IFRES), Tertiary Education Trust fund  (TETFund), German Research Foundation research grants in 2006, 2007. 2014 and 2023, respectively. His research publications have appeared in several peer-reviewed scientific journals both locally and internationally. The major thrust of his research is on sustainable food production by arable crop farmers, and this was documented in his inaugural lecture entitled “Nigeria’s Peasantized Agriculture: The Paradox Of The Poor Feeding The Multitude”, presented on the 18th of November 2020. He is a member of the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists (NAAE), the African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE) and the International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE), among others. He has also been extensively involved in training farmers in areas such as farm management, group dynamics and agricultural produce marketing as his contributions to community development.
