Following the approval of the Council, Osun State University now has a new University Librarian. He is Mr Ajibola Maxwell Oyinloye. Mr. Oyinloye has taken over from Dr Michael Adebayo Olaosun, the former Acting University Librarian with effect from 1st August, 2013.

The Chancellor of Osun State University, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Alaiyeluwa Okunade Sijuwade, Olubuse II, has showered royal blessings on Osun State University Council. Oba Sijuwade gave these royal blessings during the courtesy visit of Council members led by its ProChancellor and Chairman, Professor Gabriel Adesiyan Olawoyin, SAN, to his palace.
It was another day of honour as the Iconic Lions felicitated with one of their members, Professor Adekunle Okesina, on his appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University.
