As part of its effort at ensuring good community relationship and having impact on its community, the College of Agriculture, Ejigbo, has inaugurated the College of Agriculture/Araromi Iwata Community Extension Group.The Provost of the College, Professor Bayonle Olorede, performed the inauguration of the Group on Tuesday, 2 July 2013. Olorede congratulated the elected officers and more than 50 members of the Araromi Community for being the first beneficiaries in the community linkage effort of the College of Agriculture, Ejigbo Campus. He listed advantages of such association to include free consultancy services from academic staff and facilitation of access to farm support inputs and technical linkage.
In his response, the elected Chairman, Mr George Akande appreciated the University for the privilege extended to the community and promised to live up to expectation and prayed for the management of Osun State University.
