While delivering a lecture titled ‘ICT and Governance’ at the occasion, Owoeye reiterated the intention of the administration of the government of the State of Osun to 'bring governance to the citizens using ICT in public service delivery'. He stressed the need for all workers in the service of the State to be computer literate.

Four members of staff of UNIOSUN IMTC were formally admitted into office at the ceremony. Dr Caleb O. Akanbi is the Chairman Ethics, Mrs Peju Adigun is the Vice-Chairman, Mr Saheed Adewuyi is the Treasurer and Mrs Bukola Fayomi is the Welfare Officer.
