Biosketch:
Michael Seun AFOLABI, is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agronomy, Osun State University, Osogbo, and currently the Acting Head of the Department. He has B. Agric. and M.Sc Agronomy from the University of Ilorin and Ph.D. Plant Breeding and Genetics from Ekiti State University. His major areas of research interests are Genetic and Plant Breeding of cereal and tuber crops. He is a member of some professional bodies such as Genetic Society of Nigeria, Nigeria Plant Breeder Association and Africa Association of Potato and Sweet Potato. He has published articles in reputable journals both locally and internationally.
