Biosketch:

Dr. Ibitunde is a lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Extention and Rural Development, College of Agriculture, Ejigbo campus of Osun State Universsity, Osogbo, Nigeria. She obtained her B. Agric, M. Sc. and Ph. D. in 1997, 2011 and 2017 respectively from the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, the Faculty of Agriculture, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. She joined the services of Osun State University in 2019. She has been committed to the growth and development of the Department, Faculty, College and University in teaching, research and community services. During the current academic session, she taught the following courses: AEE 405 (Agricultural Extension Programme Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation), AEE 522 (Foundation of Social Action and Group Dynamics), AEE 524 (Theories of Social and Technological Change: Applications in Rural Communities), AEE 525 (Administration and Programme planning in Extension), AEE 527 (Analysis of Rural Development Projects in Nigeria), AEE 506 (Seminar), AEE 508 (Research Project) and ARD 743 (Application of sociological concepts to rural problems). She has supervised 10 project students and currently has 3 project students under her supervision (undergraduate and postgraduate). She is currently the academic adviser to 300 level students. She also served as the adviser (400 level students) and (500 level students) in the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 academic Sessions respectively. She is the facilitator, Ola Extension Outreach Centre. She has 14 publications in institution-based journals and her professional association journals. Her areas of research interest include e-agriculture, climate change, women and youth in agriculture, gender and development studies. She has also attended several conferences and workshops. She belongs to professional bodies such as Agricultural Extension Society of Nigeria (AESON), Agricultural Society of Nigeria (ASN) and Rural Sociological Association of Nigeria (RUSAN).
