Rufus Olukunle Adebisi, a holder of Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Accounting, Certified Forensic Accountant and Fellow, Chartered Accountant (FCA) was born in Gbongan, the seat of Ayedaade Local Government, Osun state.

He had his Primary and Secondary Education in Gbongan and Ile-Ife. After his Secondary Education, he was engaged as Accounts Clerk by the Osun State Teaching Service Commission before he started gathering momentum and discovered himself as he registered for and passed the prescribed examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and awarded AAT Certificate(Association of Accounting Technicians of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria ICAN) in the year 1997, thereby qualified as an Associate Accounting Technician (AAT) of the Institute.
He then proceeded to Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Nigeria where he bagged his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting with Second Class Lower Division in the year 2004/2005 session.
Thereafter, he registered for and passed the prescribed Examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) then, qualified as a Chartered Accountant of the Institute in 2007 and inducted in May, 2008.

In his quest for skill acquisition, knowledge and developments, he obtained his Master of Science Degree in Accounting from Osun State University, Osogbo in the year 2020. In addition to the above, Mr. Adebisi is a Certified member of the Institute of Forensic Accountants of Nigeria (CFA) and conferred the Fellowship of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN, FCA) in 2023. He is currently on a degree leading to the award of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Accounting at the Osun State University, Osogbo Nigeria.

Before he joined the services of Osun State University as a Senior Accountant in February 2009, Mr. Adebisi was with the Osun State Teaching Service Commission as a Principal Executive Officer Accounts (GL 12).
At Osun State University, he has worked in various units of Bursary Department and Internal Audit such as: Student Accounts, Budget and Expenditure Control, Cash Book Management and Reconciliation and one time Acting Head of the Internal Audit. All the while, he has been earning his promotion steadily and rose through ranks to the current position of Deputy Bursar in the year 2019.
He has attended various Trainings/Workshops and Conferences locally and internationally.

This gentle man of integrity is known for sanctity and can-do- attitude. He is happily married to Rachael Omotola and richly blessed with Children.
