Brief Educational Profile
Dr C. A. Patrick lectures in the Department of English and Literary Studies, College of Humanities and Culture (Ikire Campus), Osun State University. He teaches African literature, literary theory and criticism, English literature and drama. He obtained a B.A. in Dramatic Arts, an M.A. in African literature and a PhD in African oral literature, all from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He has published widely in local and international journals. He has wealth of experience in editorial work: an editor with the International Journal of Research Publications Dhaka, Bangladesh and a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Literature and Arts (an imprint of Science Publishing Group) New York, U.S.A. He has edited some books. He researches Popular Culture, Humour studies, Perforance Studis and Cultural Studies. He is passionate about reading, researching, writing and publishing.
