MY PROFILE

Biosketch

Mrs. Titiloye Oluwaranti Folakemi was born in Ibadan, Oyo State. She is from Ilesa West Local Government, Ilesa, Osun State. She attended The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State for her Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies between 2002 – 2004. She has a Bachelor of Arts (B. A) in English and International Studies from Osun State University in July, 2026.

Secretarial Career

Mrs. O. F. Titiloye joined the services of the University on 22nd October, 2007 as Confidential Secretary I and was posted to the Bursary as the pioneer Secretary to the Bursar. In that capacity, she performed all the duties of a Confidential Secretary to the Bursary and the Department at large.

She was posted to the Personnel Affairs Unit of the Registry in September 2008 as a Confidential Secretary, and served there for two months. In November 2008, she was posted to the College of Science, Engineering and Technology as Secretary to the Provost, a position she held until December 2012. During this period, she was promoted to the next grade of her cadre as Senior Confidential Secretary. She was later posted to the College of Agriculture, Ejigbo Campus of the University.

On 7th January 2013, she resumed at the College of Agriculture, Ejigbo Campus, as Secretary to the Provost. On 8th May 2013, she was posted to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor as Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor, a position she has held to date.

In 2013, she was promoted to the post of Principal Confidential Secretary II with effect from October 1, 2013. She was further promoted to Principal Confidential Secretary I with effect from October 1, 2016. She was subsequently promoted to Chief Confidential Secretary with effect from October 1, 2023.
She is a member of Chartered Institute of Professional Secretarial Staff of Nigeria (CIPSSON).

Professional Experience and Services in the University

i. Participated in the servicing and secretarial assignments during the Nigerian Society for Microbiology Annual Conference hosted by the University.
ii. Assisted the Secretariat staff at the Personnel Affairs Unit and College of Science, Engineering and Technology in the servicing of meetings and preparation/collation of papers for meetings.
iii. Performed general and specialized Secretarial duties in various Units and Committee levels in the University for diverse Meetings and programmes.
iv. Prepared and typed letters, memorandum, reports, minutes, decision extracts and agenda.
v. Helped in official duties for her bosses, attended to enquiries/telephone calls and provided hospitality services in the Unit.
vi. Assisted in the maintenance of office equipment and on-the job training and supervision of subordinate staff in the office.
vii. Functioned as the custodian of confidential documents in the various offices where she has served and facilitated the organization of routine chores in the office.
The Committees she served includes:
 Appointments and Promotions Committees (Junior, Administrative/Technical and Academic)
 Selection Interview Panels for Junior, Senior Non-teaching and Academic staff.
 Various Statutory and Administrative Committees at the College of Science, Engineering and Technology
 Performed ancillary duties on Central Committees of the University through the typing of official documents and assistance to the Secretariat of such Committees like
o Central Examination Malpractices Investigation Panel (CEMIP);
o Ad-Hoc Committee on the preparation of Draft Schemes of Service for staff of the University;
o Publication Committee for the preparation of the University Book Calendar and In-House Journal; and
o Task-Force on Accelerated Physical Development (TFAPD)
 Member, Chapel Building Committee at College of Agriculture, Ejigbo Campus.

Conferences she attended:

i. TETFund Sponsored Capacity Training titled “Computer Edge Operations for ICT, Data Management and Computer Service Improvement Techniques” organized by Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) at U. I. Conference Centre, Ibadan from 5th to 9h May, 2025.
ii. Workshop titled “Protecting and Enhancing the Future of Secretarial Profession in Nigeria” organized by Association of Professional Secretarial Staff of Nigeria (APSSON) from October 4 to 8, 2021 at Shaba Lafiaji Hall State General Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State.
iii. 5th International Africa Personal Assistants Consortium (IAPAC) at Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya (20th to 22nd November, 2019)
