Brief Educational Profile

OLATUNDUN Joshua Oladepo is a lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies, Faculty of Humanities, College of Humanities, Ikire Campus. He has NCE (Yoruba/Hausa) from St. Andrew’s College of Education, Oyo in 1996; B.A English Language from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2001; M.A, MPhil and Ph.D. English Language from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2008, 2017 and 2023 respectively. He joined the services of Osun State University in 2009 as an Assistant Lecturer. He has served in different administrative capacities such as Examination Officer, Level Adviser and Member of Faculty and College Committees like College Sports Committee, Examination Malpractice Committee, Student Disciplinary Committee and so on. He is a prolific writer. OLATUNDUN Joshua Oladepo was the Coordinator of the Department of English and Literary Studies, Osun State University, Osogbo, Nigeria. He has published extensively in local and international journals and chapters in edited books. His major areas of research interests include pragmatics, discourse analysis and syntax
