Brief Educational Profile

I am a Mathematics Education scholar and professional teacher with a strong academic background spanning Mathematics Education, STEM, and related areas. I obtained N.C.E. in Mathematics/Computer Science (2004) at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Oto/Ijanikin, B.Sc. (Ed.) in Mathematics Education (2012), M.Ed. in Mathematics Education (2017), and Ph.D. in Mathematics Education (2022), all from Lagos State University. I am also a registered professional teacher with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). My professional development includes certifications and training in Artificial Intelligence and Python Programming, Cybersecurity, qualitative data analysis using ATLAS.ti, Google Digital Skills, Scratch Coding, Cisco Networking, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE), and Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer, among others.

Current/Recent Research

: I have veered my research towards addressing urgent mathematics education problems especially those that are related to teaching and learning approaches with the use of technology. I am currently collaborating with professional colleagues to expand the horizon of my research beyond classroom setting. Among the ongoing research which I am currently conducting/collaborating are:
1. Teaching of Mathematics using local language
2. Integration of CTCAI Approach in classroom settings
3. Virtual simulation
