Brief Educational Profile

Dr. Busari Jamiu Muhammad earned his Ph.D. in Islamic Studies (specializing in Islamic Law and Jurisprudence, 2021) from Lagos State University (LASU) Lagos, Nigeria. He had previously studied and graduated from LASU earning certificates in Master Degree (M.A) in Islamic Studies with specialty in Islamic Law and Jurisprudence, 2011), Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Arabic Language and Literature (2009) and Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies (2002). He also had a Postgraduate Diploma in Education Management from the National Open University of Nigeria (2017).
Dr. Busari also obtained professional certificates in Criminology, Islamic Banking and Finance, as well as Islamic Bioethics from various Nigerian and international Institutions. He's an active member of several professional bodies, including NATAIS, NASR, NUSREL, and TRCN. He is also a professional reviewer for both local and international journals in Nigeria, Malaysia, Indonesia, USA and UK among others. He is a seasoned Islamic scholar, teacher, author, preacher, community builder, and peace advocate
Dr Busari is a Fellow of the International Institute of Muslim Unity (Malaysia, 2023) and a Fellow of the Ife Institute of Advanced Studies (Ife, Nigeria, 2025).
