The Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, has approved the appointment of Professor Bashir Adekunle Okesina, Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University. Okesina, a Chemical Pathologist, was born on October 11, 1954.

The second semester sporting activities will commence on Monday, March 18, 2013. According to a statement from the Secretary of Sports Committee, Mr. P. A. Oluwafisoye, five male matches are to be played on Monday, March 18.
