Biosketch:
Adesola Adesote holds N.C.E in Economics and History from Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo in 2004; B.A ED History from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2007; M.A History and PhD in Economic and Social History from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2011 and 2016 respectively. Since his appointment in the University, his academic career has seen him occupying some academic positions such as Departmental Examination Officer, Departmental Postgraduate Programme Coordinator, Coordinator of the Department, Chairman, Faculty Journal Committee and Chairman, Sports College Committee. Dr. Adesote has contributed immensely to historical scholarship in Economic and Social History with major emphasis on Migration, African Diaspora and Conflict Studies. He is a prolific writer, scholar and budding historian. His publications have appeared in several reputable local and international journals and edited books. He belongs to several professional associations and networks (see below)
Research Interests, Achievements / Specialization:
Economic and Social History, Migration, African Diaspora and Conflict Studies and Political History. He is currently working on the Yoruba migrant farmers and the Growth of Islam in some rural communities of the defunct Ondo Division of Southeastern Yorubaland since the 1930s.
Contributions to knowledge
He has 40 scholastic publications in local and international journals and edited books. He has supervised twenty (15) undergraduate projects and four (4) Master’s Dissertations since he joined the University. He has attended and presented papers in twenty-six (26) national and international and conferences, training workshops and symposia.
Scientific /Professional Activities:
In the last eight years of his sojourn into the academia, he has served as a resource person and guest speaker in some symposia and workshops such as Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding Seminar Series, Abere, Osogbo, Osun State, 20 June, 2019; chaired sessions of some conferences. He also served as one of the resource persons commissioned by the Evans Brothers (Nigeria Publishers) Limited, Ibadan to write Evans Modular History for Primary Schools (Book 1-6) and Evans Effective History for Junior Secondary Schools (Book 1-3).

Joshua Oladepo OLATUNDUN holds a 2017 M.Phil. degree in Discourse Analysis from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. A teacher of Syntax, Discourse Analysis and Pragmatics at Osun State University since 2009. Apart for being a class Teacher, he has occupied different sensitive positions in the University ranging from the Level Adviser of the 400L Students of the Department of English and Literary Studies to Examination Officer from 2015-2019, the longest in the history of the Department.
Research Interests Achievements/ Specialization:
OLATUNDUN is majorly interested in Literary Discourse Analysis, Pragmatics, Stylistics and Syntax.
Contribution to Knowledge:
He has published about 10 scholastic publications in chapters in book and local and international journals. He has supervised over 60 B.A projects. Again, he has been awarded the best Lecturer of the year by The English Students Association (ENSSA) in 2013 and 2017 respectively. He has attended local and international Conferences and Workshops.

Adebisi Adegoke Joined the service of the University as an Administrative officer II in the year 2015. He holds Bachelor of Technology B-Tech (Hons) in Pure and Applied Mathematics and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in the year 2002 and 2009 respectively.
Professional Career:
He completed his mandatory NYSC program in July, 2003 at the 146, Amphibious Battalion, Nigerian Army Calabar Cross River State. He joined the service of Industrial and General Insurance (IGI) Plc as Pension and Actuarial service Manager and Pension Fund Administrator form the year 2004 to 2014.
He was appointed and assumed duties as Administrative officer II in the year 2015 and Presently an Administrative officer I Personnel Affairs Unit of The Osun State University, Osogbo. Nigeria.

Adebanjo Jacob ANIFOWOSE holds a 1990 PhD in Environmental and Photochemistry Chemistry from the Hiroshima University, Nigeria. A lecturer at Osun State University, Osogbo (Nigeria) since 2009. His academic career has seen him occupying strategic academic positions in the University system which include member of the Faculty Board of Examiners; member of the Finance Committee of the Faculty; two-time Examinations Officer of the Department, SIWES Coordinator of the Department and Finance Committee member of the Department. An experienced researcher, he has presented in many internal conferences and belongs to several professional associations (see below)

Research Interests, Achievements / Specialization:
Photochemical reactions involving reactive oxygen species and inorganic pollutants in natural waters; sources, effects and fates of fluorescent and organic pollutants in natural waters; the dynamics and effects of polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the atmosphere, soil and sediment.
Contributions to knowledge
He has, at least, 13 scholastic publications in local and international Journals. He has supervised several undergraduate Theses. He has attended various local and international Conferences including Taiwan, Singapore and Japan and Workshops.
Scientific /Professional Activities:
In the last few years, he has been a Proctor of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Nigeria (JAMB) for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. Also, is a Facilitator and Project Supervisor, Faculty of Science, National Open University of Nigeria (since 2018). He is a researcher on chemical pollutants in natural water.

Dr Anifowose has won several academic awards and grants for his excellent performance. These include the Best Graduating Student in Industrial Chemistry (B.Tech.), Osun State University Special Doctoral Staff Fellowship (2007), Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Ph.D Scholarship (Japan), Hiroshima University Conference Grant (Japan) and the Torii Fund Grant (Japan).

Mohammed Akinlabi RUFAI holds a B.Sc degree in Zoology from Usman Dan Fodiyo University, Sokoto in the year 1999. He obtained M.Sc. in Environmental Parasitology and Ph.D in Parasitology from the University of Port Harcourt in the year 2006 and 2012 respectively. Attended Global Fund sponsored training course on Entomological Surveillance for malaria and its vector control, Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR). A lecturer - 1 in the Department of Zoology, he has served as the coordinator of Department of Zoology, Departmental examination officer and coordinator, Project and seminar coordinator, Departmental SIWES Coordinator, Staff adviser to students and students association and currently Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator, Departmental representative on PowerPoint presentations, Chairman Zoological Garden committee and Departmental examination officer and coordinator. Miss Adeyemo Ronke is currently at the College of Health Sciences, Osogbo as the Senior Office Assistant to the Department of Community Medicine. She was born in Ile Ife, but Native of Iresi Boluwaduro Local Government, Osun State. Miss Adeyemo Ronke obtained SSCE in 1997 and NECO in 2004.She also obtained Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accountancy from Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State in 2003.She obtained Higher National Diploma (HND, Accountancy) from the same institution in 2007. Also a Certificate in Computer from Ade Special Computer Training, Ikirun in year 2004.
Professional Career
She joined UNIOSUN under the Graduate Assistant Programme (GAP) in 2012-2014 at the Budget and Expenditure Unit of the Bursary Department. She worked as Administrative Assistant in the UNIOSUN Department of Works from 2014 to 2015 (also under GAP). She was appointed and assumed duty as an Office Assistant in Osun State University, Osogbo on 27th July, 2015. Presently, She is in the Department of Community Medicine where she work till date.

Mrs Ibraheem Modinat B. is currently at the College of Health Sciences, Osogbo as the Chief Clerical Officer to the Department of Anatomy. She was born in Ede, Ede North Local Government, Osun State. Mrs. Ibraheem obtained a degree in Accounting from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State in year 2019 and SSCE, WAEC 2000. Also a Certificate in Computer from Dapak Computer Training, Osogbo in year 2002.
Professional Career
She was appointed and assumed duty as a Clerical Officer in Osun State University, Osogbo on 22nd October, 2007 as one of the pioneer staff. She has served in different units in the University. She was the Pioneer Clerical Officer to the Office of the Provost, Science Engineering and Technology (SET) where she served for almost a year, then posted to Library unit of the University where she worked excellently from June 2008 to 2010. Later on, she was transferred to Provost Office, College of Education, Ipetu Ijesa campus in year 2010 where she served meritoriously for five years. She was transferred to Department of Agric Economics, Ejigbo Campus in year 2014. Presently, She is in the Deparment of Anatomy from 2014 till date.

ADEJUMO Adetola Anu was born in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria. He is a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomosho, where he studied Electronic and Electrical Engineering. After graduation from the University in 2008, he had his National Youth Service (NYSC) at the Federal Government Girls’ College, Potiskum, Yobe State between 2008 and 2009.
Professional Career
He is a young and dynamic Information and Technology Management master. He is interested in, and passionate about solving problems by meeting technical challenges with both academic and technical skills. After service year from 2009 to 2011, he had been involved with undertaking Information and Communications Technology (ICT) trainings and projects in the areas of Computer Networking, Professional Website Design, System Analysis and Programming, Linux and Windows Server Operating System Administration. He was appointed and assumed duty as System Analyst on 15th March, 2012. Since then, he had worked in the University Library with the Information Management and Technology Centre (IMTC) to deploy devices and equipment, manage Information Infrastructure and provide administrative services in relation to systems, policies and procedures. For about a decade now, he has contributed immensely and collaborated seamlessly with IMTC teams on various mission critical assignments that resulted in the actualization of organizational goals. Adejumo has a number of scholarly publications in reputable journals on topics of interests such as Integrated Library System, Software Piracy and Strategic Evaluation of Library Resources.

The Senior medical officer, Orogun Edward o, was born in Ede, Ede south local government Osun state. He attended Osun state school of nursing Osogbo where he obtained Registered Nurse certificate between 1995 and 1998. He then attended Ladoke Akintola university of technology, Ogbomoso for his medical degree between 1998 and 2007. He had his compulsory one year internship at state hospital Asubiaro Osogbo.
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Orogun was appointed as a medical officer by the Osun state hospital management board and was posted to state hospital ikire in 2008 after being exempted from the NYSC scheme. This was where he worked for a year before being transferred to work at state hospital Osogbo and Ilesa between year 2009 and 2012
He was appointed as medical officer 2 on the 19th of March 2012 in Osun state university. Here he was in charge of the health centre, college of education, ipetu Ijesa campus from 2012 to September 2018. At present he is in charge of the health centre of college of management and social sciences, Okuku. Due to his services in the university, he got promotions and rose to the rank of senior medical officer in October 2018.
