INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER FOR YEARS 2011-2012 (MERGED) TETF NORMAL INTERVENTION

Osun State University, a multi-campus higher institution is desirous of execution of its Year 2011-2012 (Merged) TETF Normal Intervention. Interested and reputable contractors with relevant experience in handling the following projects are therefore invited to apply for pre-qualification and tender as follows.

The projects are as follows:
(i) Construction of Faculty of Environmental Sciences Building at the Osogbo Main Campus: Tetfund Code: OSUN-UNI/TETF/11-12/01;

(ii) Procurement of Furniture for the Faculty of Environmental Sciences: OSUN-UNI/TETF/11-12/02.

Pre-Qualification Criteria for the Technical Competence
Interested and able contractors are to submit duplicate copies of their pre-qualification and tender documents. The pre-qualification documents should be in separate envelope and should follow the following guidelines:
(i) Evidence of registration of the company with Corporate Affairs Commission
(ii) Evidence of Professional Qualification of key staff
(iii) Evidence of registration with Osun State Government and Osun State University
(iv) Audited accounts for the last three years
(v) Evidence of similar jobs completed within the past three years
(vi) Evidence of verifiable building construction equipment
(vii) Evidence of 3 years Tax Clearance of two Directors obtained from Osun State Government
(viii) Evidence of Company’s Tax Clearance
(ix) Evidence of VAT Registration Certificate
(x) Verifiable evidence of Bank support addressed to the University
(xi) Evidence of payment for tender documents

*Contractors who have not diligently executed previous/similar contracts need not apply*

Close of Submission and Other Pre-Requisites
(i) All pre-qualification dossier should be submitted in duplicate in an envelope of size 350mm x 220mm and marked with the statement “PRE-QUALIFICATION ETF 2011-2012 (MERGED) TETF NORMAL INTERVENTION” and addressed to The Registrar, Osun State University, Osogbo.

(ii) All completed tenders are to be submitted also in duplicate and must be addressed to the Registrar, Osun State University, Osogbo PMB 4494, Osogbo, Nigeria not later than six weeks from the date of this publication.

Both the pre-qualification dossier and completed Tender documents must be submitted at the Office of the Registrar, Osun State University, Main Campus, Osogbo.

(iii) The Tender documents will be opened after 14 days upon closure in the Council Chamber, Osun State University, Main Campus, Osogbo.

(iv) All Tender submissions should be in suitable size envelope with the title of the project written on the top left hand corner of the envelope.

A non-refundable Tender fee of:
(i) Three Hundred Thousand Naira (N300,000.00) only for Construction of Faculty of Environmental Sciences Building

(ii) Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only for Procurement of Furniture for the Faculty of Environmental Sciences

is to be paid in bank draft made payable to Osun State University

Collection of Tender Documents
Tender documents would be available for collection in the Office of the Registrar upon production of evidence for the payment of the tender fees specified above immediately this advert is published.

This advertisement is invitation to pre-qualification and tender process and should neither be misconstrued as a commitment on the part of the University, nor shall it entitle contractors to make any claim whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the University. The Registrar shall not be obliged to engage in any communication on the outcome of the exercise.
