The proposed programmes are B.Sc Public Health, B.Sc Pharmacology and B.N.Sc. Nursing in the College of Health Sciences and B.Ed. Adult Education, B.Ed Guidance and Counselling and B.Ed. Educational Management in the College of Education.
The team for College of Health Sciences included Professor O. K. Alausa; Professor O. O. Adeyemi and Professor B. R. Fajemilehin accompanied by Pharmacist M. A. Audu of the National Universities Commission while the team for College of Education included Professor N. Agbe and Professor N. Akpotu accompanied by Mr. T. Ogbor of the National Universities Commission.

While welcoming the visiting teams, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adekunle Okesina, briefed the teams on the growth of the University and the gradual development of its academic programmes. In their exit briefing, the resource teams, while naturally guarded in making any pronouncement, expressed satisfaction with the facilities and offered useful advice.

Osun State University paid host to the National Universities Commission’s Resource Verification Teams on Friday, 17 January, 2014. The visit was in connection with resource verification for three proposed new programmes in the Colleges of Health Sciences and Education.
