Engr. Gbolade further requested the University to fashion out a training programme for his Corps. In his response, the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Adekunle Okesina, assured the team that the University would continue to cooperate with the Corps with a view to maintaining peace.

He also expressed readiness of the university to partner with the Corps to organise training programmes for their members. At the event were principal officers of the University and senior officials from the Nigerian Civil Defence and Security Corps.
