According to the letter, the full accreditation is for five years, effective from 1st March, 2012. The Registrar Atume, in the letter, advised the University to ensure that the standards are not only maintained but improved upon. The programmes accredited are: Electrical/Electronics and Civil Engineering.

It would be recalled that the regulatory body conducted visitation to the institution between 26th February and 1st March, 2012 aimed at ascertaining the level of compliance with standard engineering course guidelines in the country.
The Vice-Chancellor has expressed his appreciation to all those who contributed in various ways to the successful outing especially the Provost of the College, the Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Heads of Department, academic and non- academic staff as well as staff in the Directorate of Academic Planning.
He, however, implored them to continue to render full support to ensure a good outing during the NUC accreditation visit for the programmes.
