Mrs. Fayemi will participate in the ‘Progress to Proficiency - Iteration VI’ training from March 5 to April 1, 2025. This prestigious programme is sponsored by the Government of India through the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programmeme. She is the only Nigerian selected for this capacity-building training, a testament to the University's commitment to excellence and professional development.
As part of the sponsorship, the Government of India will provide her with a return airfare to Hyderabad, accommodation, and living expenses for the entire duration of the course. The training aims to enhance proficiency in English and foreign languages, further equipping her with advanced communication and administrative skills.
Speaking on this development, the Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University, Professor Odunayo Clement Adebooye, congratulated Mrs. Fayemi on her selection, describing it as a significant achievement not only for her but also for the institution. He reiterated the University’s commitment to continuous learning and professional development for its staff.

Mrs. Fayemi departs the University today, 28th of February and is expected to return on the 2nd of April, 2025. Her participation in this international training aligns with Osun State University's vision of fostering global collaboration and professional growth among its staff.
