Adesoji, in the statement, highlighted that Dr. Adufe's achievement underscores her exceptional academic prowess and dedication to public health.

"The MMF, a collaborative initiative between the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), Corona Management System (CMS), National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP), Nigeria Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO), aims to bolster the mathematical modelling capacity of public health professionals in Nigeria," Adesoji added.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor 'Ayo Clement Adebooye, commended Dr. Adufe, attributing her success to the University's commitment to research development and problem-solving.

"Our university's unparalleled track record in grant acquisition and fellowships in recent years reflects our dedication to research excellence.
