This is confirmed in a letter dated 28th January 2022, jointly signed by the leadership of the Community. According to the letter, the Organisation’s decision to confer the prestigious award on the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of UNIOSUN’s Governing Council is in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the development of Islam and humanity through his exalted profession and position. The Community is an umbrella body for the entire Muslim Ummah in Osun State.

The award, which will be conferred as part of the Organisation’s array of events to mark its 25th year of productive and impactful existence, has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 2nd July 2022. On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, staff and students of Osun State University, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor “Ayo Clement Adebooye, felicitates the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council on this distinguished honour and recognition and thanks to the Osun State Muslim Community for recognizing the Mallam Yusuf Alli’s sterling contributions to the development of humanity.
