Philosophy

The philosophy of the Department of Accounting, Banking and Finance, Osun State University, Okuku Campus is to strengthen the intellectual capacity of the students in the accounting and banking and finance discipline so as to equip them with the adequate knowledge needed for an understanding and analysis of the basic issues in the private and public sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Admission Requirements

Multiple entry pathways for qualified candidates

5 Credit passes in SSCE or equivalent including English Language, Mathematics, plus any of: Economics, Geography, Commerce, Government, Accounts, Book-Keeping in not more than two sittings. Acceptable UTME score and Post-UTME screening required.

Advanced Level passes in at least two of: Economics, Geography, Commerce, Government, Accounts, Book-Keeping. ND/NCE with Lower Credit in relevant fields also accepted.

Professional Recognition: ICAN ATS (Final Level), Foundation passes of ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, CIBN, CITN, and IFAC member bodies may be considered for direct entry.
