Preserving Yoruba Heritage Through Excellence
The Faculty of Culture was formally established in 2022 with Professor Mikail Adebisi Folorunsho as the pioneer Ag. Dean. It is located in the College of Humanities and Culture, Ikire Campus, alongside the Faculty of Humanities.
The faculty has five departments, all of which have full accreditation from the National Universities Commission for the award of Bachelor of Arts degrees. The programmes in the faculty reflect the true essence of Yoruba cultural heritage as found in the academic activities of all the departments.
There are numerous committees that coordinate the activities and affairs of the faculty, complementing the roles of the Dean and ensuring smooth academic administration.
