Personnel Affairs Unit

The Personnel Affairs Unit of the Registry manages all staff-related matters within Osun State University. The Unit oversees staff recruitment, promotion, discipline and personnel administration while ensuring compliance with institutional policies, human resource regulations and governance procedures.

Personnel Structure

Academic Staff Establishment

Handles recruitment, promotion and personnel records for all academic staff within the University.

Administrative & Technical Staff

Coordinates human resource administration for administrative and technical staff across the University.

Junior Staff Unit

Responsible for personnel matters relating to junior staff including employment records, staff welfare and administrative support.

Human Resource Responsibilities

Staff Appointment

Managing recruitment, selection and appointment of staff across all categories within the University.

Staff Promotion

Coordinating promotion processes through the Appointment and Promotions Committees.

Staff Discipline

Administering disciplinary procedures in line with University regulations and governance standards.

Entry & Exit Management

Serving as the official entry and exit point for all categories of University staff.

Governance Committee

The Personnel Affairs Unit operates through the University Committee system and reports to the University Council through the Appointment and Promotions Committee responsible for Academic, Administrative, Technical and Junior Staff matters.
