Council Affairs Unit
The Council Affairs Unit of Osun State University manages all matters relating to the University Council, the governing body responsible for institutional governance, property management and financial oversight.
The Unit ensures the effective implementation of policies formulated by Council and coordinates governance processes through a structured committee system supporting the administration and strategic direction of the University.

Procurement Committee
Responsible for overseeing procurement procedures and contract awards in compliance with University procurement regulations.
Finance & General Purposes Committee
Handles financial governance matters on behalf of Council and provides recommendations regarding financial policies, budgets and institutional expenditure.
Appointments & Promotions Committees
Coordinates appointments, promotions and career advancement processes for Academic, Administrative, Technical and Junior staff of the University.
Honorary Degrees Committee
Manages nomination, evaluation and approval procedures for the conferment of honorary degrees by the University Council.
Through its governance coordination role, the Council Affairs Unit safeguards institutional integrity and ensures that Council resolutions are implemented in accordance with government policies and the strategic development goals of Osun State University.
