The Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University, on behalf of Senate, Staff and Students, commiserates with the University's Chancellor and Chairman of Osun State Council of Obas, Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II, the Ooni of Ife on the transition to eternity of the late Alayeluwa Oba Oladele Olashore, Aloko of Iloko, the Ajagbusi-Ekun, the Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesaland.

In view of the recent tragic death of 153 Nigerians in the plane crash of Sunday, 3rd June, 2012, and as part of the University’s respect for the departed souls, the general public is hereby informed that the first UNIOSUN Distinguished Guest Lecture earlier scheduled for Tuesday, June 5, 2012 is hereby postponed. A new date will be announced later.

Notice is hereby given that the 2012 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise will hold on Saturday 16th June, 2012 at 10.00 am for candidates who chose Osun State University as their 1st and/or 2nd choice, with a minimum score of 200 and above.

Osun State University hereby announces that the position of Registrar will be vacant by November 5, 2012. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post. Interested applicants are requested to note the following information.
