Biosketch:
Mohammed Akinlabi RUFAI holds a B.Sc degree in Zoology from Usman Dan Fodiyo University, Sokoto in the year 1999. He obtained M.Sc. in Environmental Parasitology and Ph.D in Parasitology from the University of Port Harcourt in the year 2006 and 2012 respectively. Attended Global Fund sponsored training course on Entomological Surveillance for malaria and its vector control, Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR). A lecturer - 1 in the Department of Zoology, he has served as the coordinator of Department of Zoology, Departmental examination officer and coordinator, Project and seminar coordinator, Departmental SIWES Coordinator, Staff adviser to students and students association and currently Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator, Departmental representative on PowerPoint presentations, Chairman Zoological Garden committee and Departmental examination officer and coordinator. He has TETFUND Institutional Research Grant to his credit.

Research Interests, Achievements / Specialization:
Sustainable use of Entomopathogenic Nematodes for the biocontrol of vectors of parasitic diseases and pests of agricultural products / Environmental parasitology.
Contributions to knowledge
He has about 13 scholastic publications in local and international Journals. He has supervised undergraduate projects and currently supervising postgraduate students. He has attended various local and international Conferences and Workshops.

He has been offered opportunity to review scientific papers locally and internationally.
