Biosketch
The Higher Technical Officer of Information Management and Communication Centre, ABIONA Temitope Olutayo was born in Ibadan, Oyo State though a native of Imesi-Ile, Osun State. He attended Methodist Primary School (I), Bodija, Ibadan for his primary education between 1986 and 1993. He later proceeded to Basorun Ojoo High School, Ashi, Ibadan for his secondary education which he completed at Laro Grammar School, Opposite Government house, GRA, Osogbo, Osun State between 1993 and 2001. After his tertiary education programme at Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Osun State, where he obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science between 2008 and 2010, he obtained National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Exemption Certificate on the ground of age.
Professional Career
He had His first teaching appointment at Hope & Faith Children School, Osogbo between 2006 and 2008. He later worked with PEECEE Electronic Company as System Analyst between 2008 and 2011. He joined the workforce of Osun State University in 2012 at the department of Information Management and Technology Centre (IMTC) as Graduate Attachment Programme (GAP) staff. He worked as Ad-hoc Technical Officer in Osun State Ministry of Education, Computer Department during the preparation for the conduct of Osun State Junior Secondary School West African Examination Council in 2014/2015. He later worked in various Citadel of learning in Ilorin Kwara State as Computer Instructor and Class Teacher between 2015 and 2017. He later returned into the workforce of the Osun State University in the department of Information Management and Technology Centre (IMTC) as Support Staff in 2017 and later absorbed as Higher Technical Officer (HTO), on 3rd December, 2019.
Membership of Professional Associations
He is a full member of Nigeria Association of Computer Science Student (NACOSS), Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke Chapter under Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).
Under Extra-Curricular Activities, he is a Stateman of Man O’ War Nigeria, Osun State Command.
