Biosketch:

A Senior Lecturer, Dr. Alaba Adebola Oladiji  holds  a Nigeria Certificate in Education in Mathematics/Physics, Bachelor of Science Education (BSc. Ed.) in Mathematics Education from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, Master of Education (M. Ed.) in Educational Management from Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Management (Human Resources Management) from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago- Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. His teaching experience spans various institutions including post-primary and tertiary institutions. From 1996 to 2013, he rose through the ranks at The International School, Olabisi Onabanjo University to become Head, the Department of Mathematics, Head, the Department of Science and Mathematics and Vice Principal (Academics) before leaving the school.

Between 2008 and 2013, He taught various courses at the part-time degree studies of Olabisi Onabanjo University on part-time and co-teaching levels. Between 2013 and 2015, Dr. Alaba had a stint with National Institute for Educational Planning and administration, Ondo, Ondo, Nigeria as training and research fellow where he engaged in research and training of educational managers throughout Nigeria. He joined the services of Osun State University, Osogbo, in 2015. Since then, he has been engaging in the teaching of education courses and educational management courses at the College of Education of the University. He has aso conducted researches in educational anagement and other topical issues. 

Since joining the university, Dr. Alaba has been a member and Chairman of various committees in the University. Currently, he is the Chairman of the following committees, Examination Malpractice Committee, College of Education; UNIOSUN International School Establishment Committee; Project Monitoring Committee, Ipetu Ijesa;  Adhoc Committee on Completion of Hostel Building; and a former Chairman of College Teaching Practice Committee. Dr. Alaba is the current Managing Editor of  International Research Review. He is a reviewer of several journals, both locally and Internationally. He has won research grants with some teams consisting of academics from UNIOSUN and other institutions.

He has also functioned in various positions. Some of which are: Subdean, Students’ Affairs Unit, College of Education, Head of Unit of Educational Management Unit, and currently the Acting Head, the Department of Arts and Social Science Education of the College of Education, Osun State University, Osogbo.  Dr. Alaba          has published over forty (40) papers and reports of researches he conducted/co-conducted in several books and journals. He contributes to various community service and religious organisations both at local and National levels. Dr. Alaba, a Prince of Ago-Iwoye, is married to Princess Mrs. Olusola Adeyanju Alaba and they are blessed with children.
