Wasiu Agunbiade Lamidi is a Agricultural Engineer with over 80 publications (authored & co- authored) in solving environmental challenges for crops and animal through possible modifications of environmental parameters like temperature, wind and their housing specifications.Hispublicationsincludejournals of engineering, Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineerspapersandjournalarticles, andreviewsarticlesforpublicationinjournals.Lamidiholdsabachelor'sdegreeinAgricultural Engineering, and master's and doctorate degree in Agricultural Engineering fromOAU, Ife. He worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Education in Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun, Osun State between 2000 and 2014. He transferred his services to Osun State University, Osogbo in June 2014 to the Department of Agronomy in the Ejigbo campus of Osun State University. His services were transferred to Osogbo campus by Osun State University precisely to the Department of Agricultural Engineering in August 1. 2021 as the pioneer head of the Department.He is currently a member of the Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE) and the current Vice Chairman of the Institution in the South West Region, Nigeria. He is also the Assistant Secretary of International Soil Tillage Research Organisation (ISTRO) Nigeria Branch. His areas of core competence are farm structures, Environment, livestock and housing. Hiscurrentresearch interestincludes
―housing and building orientation effects on livestock
―Temperatue-Humidity Index effect on livestock and crop production,and
―wind movements effect on crop production
-Partial rhizosphere drying and regulated irrigation effects on photosynthesis and the concentration of bioactive compounds in green amaranth (Amaranthus cruentus L.) -A Tetfund sponsored research
