Biosketch:

OMISORE, Akinlolu Gabriel is a Professor of Community Medicine and Public Health at Osun State University. He is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians who has headed the Departments of Public Health and Community Medicine at various times. He has authored several chapters in books and dozens of articles in scientific journals both locally and internationally. He is currently supervising a good number of medical fellowships and Ph.D.s. He is an editorial member of three journals and a reviewer for renowned journals, locally and internationally. He was a contributor to the Revised Adolescent Health Manual (Nigeria, 2011). He was appointed a full Professor in 2021. He has taught as a full-time lecturer for over 10 years and has made significant research contributions to communities in Osun State, especially as it affects the health of in-school adolescents.
