Kayode Wakili OLAWOYIN holds a PhD in Local Government Studies, M.Sc., and B.Sc., Political Science from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria. He is currently a Lecturer II in the Department of Political Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, College of Management and Social Sciences of Osun State University, Osogbo. Okuku Campus. He belongs to some professional associations and networks (see below)

Research Activities in Political Behaviour, Local Governance, Politics and Development Studies, ICT and Media Studies, National government and Politics, Comparative Politics, Peace and Conflict Studies. Teaching in academic community. Leadership and Governance

He has more than 10 scholastic publications in local and international Journals. He has supervised and currently supervising Undergraduate Theses; and attended local and International Scientific Courses, Conferences and Workshops.

Currently, He is working among others, the research on Religious Crises and Challenges of Insecurity in Nigeria: Implications for Democratic Governance and Development. A contribution to the Special Panel convened by Osun State University on Religious Identity, Security and Development in Nigeria. Research paper with Dr. Olawoyin, Kayode Wakili & Dr. Olu Awofeso (Un-dergoing Review).
