Seun Oyelami had a B. tech from Ladoke Akintola University in Ogbomoso, proceeded to Federal University of Agriculture in Abeokuta for his M. Eng in Mechanical Engineering and bagged a PhD in same Mechanical Engineering for the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University in Ogbomoso, His research interest had been tailored to Thermofluids, Energy and Environmental studies. His work had centered on reducing the environmental hazards from energy usage to reduce the effects of climate change and health issues. Seun Oyelami had work on harnessing and deploying renewable energy as substitute to our conventional energy sources. His research effort has help in collaborating the efforts of past researchers to establish the fact that LPG a more environmentally friendly refrigerant, could successfully be used to replace the current R134a being used in refrigeration systems. He had published several works in a bid to mitigate the effect of technology on the climate change and attendant health issues. Also, his research effort had successfully strengthened the campaign of waste to energy, by establishing the advantages of wastes like sawdust and corncob in making bio-ethanol that could be blended with gasoline and give better engine performance and also a friendly emission, The health impact of pollutants in the environment and from our energy sources are of great challenges, he already used his research works to establish some of this areas of concerns and proffered solutions to mitigate against the challenges, on which other researchers in the field are building on. He is the current Postgraduate sub dean in his faculty and this has assisted his leadership and research knowledge. He is so careful of his environment and that’s why his research is centered on energy and environmental sustainability.
