Research Focus:
Urological Surgery; urooncology, reconstructive urology and endourology
Biosketch:
Olufemi Ojewuyi is a urological surgeon who holds dual fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons and National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. His special interest is in urooncology which includes but not limited to kidney, bladder and prostate cancer. He is also interested in reconstructive surgery, endourology and renal transplantation. He has coauthored chapters in books and one of such is ‘The Care of the older African Adults: Geriatrics, Gerontology and Elderly Issues’ published by Nova Science Publishers in New York City in 2021. He is the Principal Investigator (PI) at UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital for National Institute for Health Research, Global Surgery Unit, a foremost funding research agency in the UK sponsored by the University of Birmingham. He has publications in peer reviewed national and international journals. His current research interest is in prostate cancer.
