Biosketch:

Bayo-Olugbami Adedamola Aminat is a Lecturer and researcher in the Department of Physiology, Osun State University, Osogbo. Her research niche is Neuroscience with specific interest in neurodegenerative disorders, neurotoxicology, mental disorders and pain. She probes the mechanistic interplay between the environment and genes; and the therapeutic potentials of nutreceuticals and natural compounds in plants in the management of these disorders.

She is a member of some professional and scientific societies and a recipient of International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) grants. She has published in both national and International journals, and has attended and presented papers in many conferences. Apart from lecturing and research, she is passionate about neuroscience advocacy, mentorship and girl-child development.
