Dr Abiodun Moses received his MBBS degree from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1991. He became a Fellow of West African College of Surgeon (FWACS) in 2005 and a Fellow of Nigerian Medical College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FMCOG) in 2006. He was appointed a Lecturer 1 in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, College of Health Sciences of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in 2008. He joined Osun State University in 2010 as a Senior Lecturer in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of College of Health sciences.RESEARCH INTERESTS
Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV, Adolescent and Young People Sexuality, Menstrual Disorders and Contraception.RESEARCH ACHEIVEMENTS
• Identification of poor knowledge of expectant mothers about Vertical Transmission of HIVAIDS.
• Identification of the use of anti-retroviral drugs and avoidance of breastfeeding as acceptable ways of preventing Vertical Transmission of HIV among pregnant Nigerian women.
• Documentation of poor contraceptive use among Nigerian tertiary institution female students despite high sexual activity
• Establishment of an aetiological role for prior Chlamydia trachomatis infection in the development of ectopic pregnancy among Nigerian women.
• Identification of endometriris as an important aetiological factor in intrauterine adhesion.SCIENTIFIC CONTRIBUTIONS
