NewsimgProf. Labode Popoola, the new Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University (UNIOSUN), represented the continent of Africa at the Trade Advisory Group (TAG) meeting at the 52nd Session of the International Tropical Timber Council Meeting (ITTC), Yokohama in Japan on 7th – 12th November, 2016.  The theme of the Annual Market Discussion at the session was on the challenges and opportunities posed and presented by free-trade agreements (FTAs) for the Tropical Timber Trade.

Popoola stated this at the handover ceremony, held in the Council Chamber, during the inaugural meeting with Principal Officers of the institution.

prof-labo-popoolaThe Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, has approved the appointment of Professor Labode Popoola, Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University. Popoola, a Professor of Forest Economis, was born on 28 September, 1960.

admissions002The Merit list of admitted candidates for 2016/2017 Admission into various degree programmes has now been released. Candidates who participated in the 2016 Admission screening exercise can now check their admission status via the University Undergraduates Admission portal. 

admissions002Notice is hereby given that the results of the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise into Osun State Univesity conducted between 5th - 9th August, 2016, have been released. Candidates who participated in the exercise are therefore advised to check their screening results via the Undergraduates portal at http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng.
