Biosketch:

Wasiu Agunbiade Lamidi is an Agricultural Engineer. He was formerly the Acting Head of the Department of Agronomy of the University. At present,   he is the Acting Head of Department of Agricultural Engineering. He belongs to several professional bodies such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), the Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE) and the International Soil Tillage Research Organisation (ISTRO). He is a certified Engineer by COREN. He was the Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE), Osogbo Chapter, and a member of Executive of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Osogbo Branch. He is the currently the Vice Chairman of NIAE in the South West region of Nigeria. Dr Lamidi’s research interests are farm structures, livestock and crop environments. Currently, he is writing a book on Farm Structures and the Environments. He has published over seventy articles in top rated journals and proceedings. He had also attended several learned conferences. He is also a community man.
