UNIOSUN SET TO HOLD 16TH MATRICULATION CEREMONY FOR FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Osun State University will on Tuesday, 21st February, 2023 hold its 16th matriculation ceremony for full-time undergraduate students to mark the end of 2022/2023 admission exercise.

 

The Matriculation which is a major ceremony that brings newly admitted students into a formal agreement with the University will be College-based, and scheduled to take place at each of the University’s College’s auditorium, while that of the main campus will take place at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium, by 10:00 a.m prompt.
It will be recalled that Osun State University, not too long ago released all batches of its admissions, adding about 6,500 candidates to its students population across campuses.

As is custom practice of the university to officially welcome fresh students into its academic community with a matriculation ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor ‘Ayo Clement Adebooye, would be sustaining this culture for the second year running presiding over the ceremony and doling out words of advice to the newbies.

As part of the ceremony, the Registrar, Mr. Gafar Adebayo Shittu, would administer the matriculation oath on matriculants, where they would swear to abide by the rules and regulations governing their studentship all through their academic sojourn in the University
