Biosketch:

Toyese Oyewusi is an agricultural and environmental engineer at Osun State University who specializes research on thermochemical and biological conversion of agricultural wastes into bio-products (biofuel, bio-fertilizer etc), renewable energy for effective farm management, soil and water resource management for effective crop production, reuse of biomass as materials of construction and farmstead planning. Currently his research activities and publications have contributed to knowledge in the areas of environmental remediation, wastewater recycle as source of irrigation water for crop production and suitability of ground water near agricultural processing areas for drinking, irrigation purposes and fish production. Also, he has contributed to knowledge in the area of organic fertilizer (compost and compost extract) for production of crops and its effect on soil and plants. In addition, his research activities have advanced knowledge in the use of different agricultural wastes as a source of renewable energy (agro-wastes into bioenergy) for domestic and industrial use. Furthermore, he has contributed to the use of biomass as local material for rainwater harvest and construction of farm structures. He has presented some papers in conferences and have some articles published in reputable journals.
