Biosketch:

Murtadha, Abdulsalam MURTADHA is a plant breeder at the Osun State University who specializes in crop improvement for stress environments. He has contributed chapters in edited books and published articles in peer-reviewed journals both locally and internationally. He has worked extensively on the improvement of yield of okra, cucumber and other indigenous African leafy vegetables. He has also studied the stability of performance of maize grain yield grown in diverse environments in the country. Currently, he is working on developing quality protein maize (QPM) for stress conditions.
