Biosketch:

Bode Fatoki is an Environmental Toxicologist at Osun State University, Osogbo, Nigeria, with a distinguished academic and research background. He has supervised multiple undergraduate dissertations and postgraduate research theses spanning various aspects of Environmental Toxicology. His research work is showcased in over 50 scholarly articles published in reputable journals both locally and internationally. His research findings have also been featured in significant scientific conferences. Dr. Fatoki is a co-author of the Companion to Tropical Medicine textbook. Notably, he has illuminated the mechanistic link between arsenic exposure and cardiovascular diseases, while establishing that the dyslipidemic effects of arsenic are primarily rooted in its inherent toxicity, rather than its metabolic forms.
