(Hons) in Geography from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria; Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) degree and PhD degree from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He worked at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria, as Assistant Lecturer in 1993 and rose within the ranks to the position of Reader in 2013.
