The genesis of Foundation Programme could be traced to the vision of the University which makes qualitative University education readily available to the Nigerian populace. Consequently, the Foundation Programme was introduced during 2008/2009 academic session. The duration is one academic session of three modules. At the end of each module, students will be required to sit for a written examination for each of the subjects offered. At the end of the Foundation Programme, and in order to qualify for Direct Entry admission into 200 level courses in the University, a student must have scored at least a lower credit or a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 in addition to passing all the compulsory courses.

Successful candidates that will enroll in the degree programme at the 200 level must purchase, complete and submit the Direct Entry UTME Form.
